Saintala gets its first Milk Chilling Centre
Today during the visit to Bolangir District, Chairman, WODC Sri Asit Tripathy & Minister, Commerce &
Transport and Water Resources Smt. Tukuni Sahoo jointly inaugurated the newly constructed Milk Chilling Center,
Saintala, which has been constructed out of WODC Fund amounting to Rs153.76 lakhs. Bulk Milk Cooler is made
functional with the targeted 2000 liters of milk on the 1st day itself.

8 Kharif and 9 Rabi Crops to be covered under Crop Insurance this Year
Eight crops for Kharif season-2022 and 9 crops for Rabi season 2022-23 would be covered under
crop insurance scheme. This was decided in State Level Crop Insurance Coordination Committee
meeting held under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sri Suresh Chandra Mahapatra in
Lokseba Bhawan Conference hall today wherein Special Secretary Agriculture Sri Sanjeev
Kumar Chadha outlined the crop insurance work plan for the current year.
